Zuzanna Jęcek

Attorney-at-law at the Cracow Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law. She graduated with distinction from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. Her master’s thesis entitled “The Administrator as an Entity Exercising the Rights and Obligations of the Employer in Sanative Proceedings” received a distinction in the Commercial Law Review’s competition for the best master’s theses in the field of commercial law. She completed her attorney-at-law apprenticeship at the Cracow Bar Association of Attorneys-at-Law, followed by full-time doctoral studies at the Department of Labour Law and Social Policy at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. She obtained her PhD on the basis of her doctoral dissertation entitled: “Succession Management in Labour Law“, which received the main prize in a competition for the best doctoral thesis organised by Polskie Wydawnictwo Ekonomiczne S.A. and the editorial staff of the monthly magazine ‘Praca i Zabezpieczenie Społeczne’ (Work and Social Security).

She has been affiliated with the Firm since 2015, and with the Jagiellonian University Student Legal Clinic since 2014.

Zuzanna has extensive experience in legal advisory for Polish and foreign companies as well as in conducting court, administrative, and administrative court proceedings, particularly in the fields of commercial law, company law, tax law, labour law and social security, and restructuring and bankruptcy law.

She is fluent in spoken and written English, including legal English, and also speaks German, including legal German.
